FAQ

How does REsole work?

REsole is a resoling service for climbing and bouldering gyms. You can book your repair on our website and drop off your shoes at one of our 19 partner gyms.

 

The shoes are collected on a fixed schedule (once or twice a month), repaired by our professional cobbler, and returned to your gym.

 

We keep you updated by email, so you always know the status of your shoes.

You can drop off your climbing shoes at any of our partner climbing and bouldering gyms:

Most of the time, your shoes will be ready within 2 weeks after pick-up. In some cases, such as during high demand or around holidays, it may take up to 3 weeks.

We keep you updated by email throughout the process, so you’ll always know when your shoes are on their way back.

Click the buttons “REsole” > “REsole my shoes” on our website and select your gym. The next pick-up date will be displayed immediately. 

 

The shoes are always collected on either the 1st or 3rd Tuesday of the month, depending on your gym. 

The best time to resole your shoes is when the rubber is thinning but there is no hole yet. However, small holes with material under need are also still repairable.

Throughout the entire process, we keep you updated by email:

  • when your order is placed

  • when your shoes are sent to the cobbler

  • when your shoes are back at the gym and ready for pickup

This way, you always know where your climbing shoes are and when you can pick them up. Check your spam if you did not receive an email after placing an order. 

A resole costs 69,50. We collect your shoes at your gym, take them to the shoemaker for resoling, and return them to your hall once they’re ready.
